What is Paging & how to use it

Paging Diagram

Like an intercom, paging also lets you deliver quick voice messages to your colleagues. Unlike an intercom however, paging delivers one-way audio messages to ring groups, meaning you can broadcast to multiple extensions simultaneously, but they cannot automatically reply back. Paging is typically used to make announcements such as fire drills, visitor arrivals or the start time of events.

To use the paging function, dial a prefix number of *11 in front of your desired group you want to page. Group 900 is default setting for all of your extension.

Dial *11900 for paging all extensions.
Dial *11901 for paging group 901 if it is set. From group 901, it will set upon the requests.
