“Click to Call” from browsers and MS Office application

With this feature, users can dial phone numbers directly from their browsers or MS office by a simple click of the mouse. Numbers are automatically transferred to the 3CX dial pad for Windows, ready for the call to be made, eliminating the need to copy and paste or dial.

To have this features, here the setting procedures

1. Install and use 3CX Windows Desktop App

2. To change phone call default program to “3cx desktop App” in Windows 10

3. To install browser extension of Telephone Number Detection

To Launch the dial pad from mail or office like word or excel

By this setting, when the number is inputted as “Tel:416-855-2780”  or Callto:41671023430 then the hyperlink will be activated, and displayed as Tel:416-855-278*.

By clicking it, phone dial pad will be launched and the number will be on the pad already. Just click the dial button to make phone call.
